Armand P. Capisciolto, FCPA, FCA

As BDO Canada’s National Accounting Standards Partner, Armand Capisciolto led the firm through the adoption of IFRS, ASPE and ASNPO, as well as significant changes in Public Sector Accounting Standards. Armand has been actively involved in standard setting in Canada since 2005 and, currently, is the Chair of CPA Canada’s Private Enterprise Advisory Committee and a member of the Accounting Standards Board. Active in his community, Armand volunteered with the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation (SSMEDC). SSMEDC is a non-profit organization funded by public and private partners whose goal is to be Sault Ste. Marie’s leader in supporting and promoting an environment that generates sustainable employment in a healthy, growing and diversified economy.

Luigi V. Celli, FCPA, FCA

More than six years after merging his predecessor firm with Grant Thornton LLP, Lou Celli was named Chair of Grant Thornton’s Partnership Board, a tribute to his professionalism and leadership skills. Lou has been a pillar of the Hamilton business community for over 20 years and is renowned for his passion for the arts. He firmly believes that art enhances a community. Lou champions artists through his volunteer time and financial gifts to supporting organizations like the Art Gallery of Hamilton, where he has just served his tenth year on the Board, including the last two years as Chair. Leadership, beauty and humour round out his values and passion for how he lives his life.

Min Hua Grace Chow, FCPA, FCA

Grace Chow is a founding Partner of Cadesky and Associates LLP, a CPA firm consisting of six partners and 20 professional staff. The firm has two offices specializing exclusively in tax services, with the support of small- and medium-size CPA firms a major part of their mission. She writes and lectures on tax subjects for the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Ontario and Annual Conferences. Grace is the lead author of two tax-related professional publications used by CPAs in daily practice. In 1998, she helped set up a Canadian branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP Canada), the leading international organization for trust and estate professionals.

Domenico P. Cisterna, FCPA, FCA

Danny Cisterna is a Partner and National Leader, Tax, Financial Services Industry at Deloitte LLP in Toronto. He is recognized by the International Tax Review as one of the world's Indirect Tax Leaders. Danny spearheaded reinstating CPA Canada’s Commodity Tax Committee and was appointed its initial Chair. Danny is a member of the GST Leaders Forum and was its inaugural Chair in 2007. He received the Normand Guerin Award for the 2014 CPA Commodity Tax Symposium for co-writing "Wolf of Bay Street or Wolf of Main Street?”. He is a Board member and Treasurer for Giant Steps School for autistic children, a top fundraiser for the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Ride and a Leader donor to United Way.

Erin B. Crowe, FCPA, FCA

Erin Crowe is Chief Financial Officer of ProSlide Technology Inc., the global leader in water slide manufacturing and water park design. Prior to ProSlide, Erin spent 18 years with Senators Sports & Entertainment in senior finance roles, most recently as Executive VP & CFO. Erin has received many accolades: the Ottawa Women’s Business Network named her the 2009 Corporate Businesswoman of the Year and she was included in the Ottawa Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2010. Erin is passionate about giving back to her profession and community. On the board of the Ottawa Food Bank, Erin previously served as Board Chair and Trustee of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, as well as Board Chair and Director for Roger Neilson House.

Janet E. Currie, FCPA, FCA, FCMA

As the Executive Partner of the predecessor firm Gaviller & Company LLP, Janet Currie led the firm in joining the Collins Barrow Co-operative. Janet has been the Executive Partner of Collins Barrow SGB LLP since 2014. She is a Deputy Chair on CPA Ontario’s Professional Conduct Committee, serving since 2012. In 2008, Janet was recruited by the Board of Directors of the Centre for Business and Economic Development in Collingwood and is now Past Chair. She has held board and executive positions with the Collingwood Chamber of Commerce and the Kinette Club of Collingwood, where her financial and business knowledge have contributed to the success of both organizations.

John Doma, FCPA, FCA

John Doma is the Managing Partner with Bateman MacKay LLP. Passionate about his designation, he takes significant interest in family-owned businesses. John has always built solid relationships with his clients, team members and community by offering timely, valuable and practical assistance as a mentor, advisor and friend. A consummate volunteer, John has been actively involved in his communities (Canadian and Slovenian) for over 35 years, giving of his time as a board member and frontline team member to athletic, educational, business and seniors related initiatives and issues. John is currently the Honorary Counsel General for the Republic of Slovenia and recently was awarded the HORUS Award for Social Responsibility by the Slovenian Government.

Michelle T. Faysal, FCPA, FCA

Michelle T. Faysal is the COO and CFO for Generation Capital Limited, a privately-held family office with assets under management of approximately $3 billion. Since 2007, she has also been the Managing Director of Management Effectiveness, a privately-operated consulting practice. Since 2010, Michelle has served on the board of the Greater London International Airport Authority as the sole community nominee and Vice-Chair of the Board. Michelle also served on the boards of London Health Sciences Centre, the Lawson Health Research Institute, the Children’s Health Foundation and Brescia University College. She has enjoyed being a guest panelist for CPA Ontario-sponsored events at the Ivey Business School, at ICD Director Breakfast sessions and as part of iLunch, the Virtual CFO.

Dr. Mark A. Feigenbaum, FCPA, FCA

Dr. Mark Feigenbaum is one of the most recognized and skilled cross-border tax practitioners in North America. Many of his clients are well-known around the world as athletes, entertainers and prominent business people. Mark also advises numerous accountants and lawyers with complex tax situations. Mark is licensed to practise law in the U.S. and Canada, and his academic background consists of a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a Law degree, Master of Laws in Entertainment and Media, and a Doctorate in International Taxation. Mark also holds a Master of Arts in Education and has taught for many years at the University of Toronto, Wilfrid Laurier University, York University, Ryerson University, and for CPA Ontario.

William G. Fenton, FCPA, FCA

During Bill Fenton’s professional career at KPMG and NAV CANADA, he always enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experiences with his colleagues, clients and business associates. In retirement, Bill has continued his passion for professional development as an instructor with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD). Whether it be at governance courses for directors of Canadian corporations or business courses for air navigation service providers around the world, the participants always enjoy learning from Bill’s depth of knowledge and expertise. Bill continues to give back to his community through several unique initiatives.
