What if I do not complete my CGA courses and don’t have a degree?

  • Important consideration: Students are advised to complete their degree and studies in the CPA program concurrently. This helps to avoid having an extended time gap between a student’s CPA studies and taking Capstone 1.
  • Students should enrol in Capstone 1, Capstone 2 and take the CFE, after earning a degree.
  • Pay annual student fees each January to maintain status as student in good standing with CPA Ontario.
Taking these steps ensures that a student will have until September 1, 2018 to acquire the required experience and June 1, 2020 to earn a degree.
