Financial Support

Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)
Students in the CGA program may qualify for the federal government's lifelong learning plan (LLP). This plan allows students to withdraw funds from their own or their spouse's registered savings plan to finance their education in the CGA program. To qualify, students must be enrolled in courses for three consecutive sessions. Information is available on the Canada Revenue Agency website.

BMO Bank of Montreal
The Bank of Montreal offers a BMO Professional Student Line of Credit to students in the CGA program. Students can obtain up to $20,000 per year to a maximum of $80,000 during the course of their time in the CGA program. This line of credit is for tuition, course fees, books, computer and software purchases. There are no fees and recipients can make interest-only payments for up to one year after receiving their CGA designation. Additionally, BMO offers free banking to all CGA Ontario students while in school and for one full year after graduation.
