Bachelor of Commerce degree* and complete:

  • Personal Taxation (ACCT 4816)
  • Advanced Accounting Topics I (ACCT 4836)
  • Corporate Taxation (ACCT 4817)
  •  Advanced Management Accounting (ACCT 4887)
  • Auditing (ACCT 4827)

Enrol in the CGA Program of Professional Studies


Complete any two CGA Ontario courses or take the equivalent Nipissing University courses and successfully complete the respective
CGA Ontario challenge exam to earn a transfer credit.
(C+ or higher.* Passing a CGA program challenge exam will earn you a transfer credit.)

work experience in the sector of your choice.

*Students are also required to have completed a 3-year diploma through St. Clair College, Sheridan College, Fanshawe College, Centennial College or Algonquin College. Additional 3 year accounting diplomas completed through a recognized college in Ontario that satisfies all CGA foundation level courses may also be taken into consideration for accreditation.
