Hold a University of Waterloo
Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management degree and complete:
 

  • Audit Strategy (AFM 351 or AFM 451) 
  • Taxation 1 or Taxation 1 for Accountants (AFM 361 or AFM 362) 
  • Taxation 2 for Accountants (AFM 461)
  • Cost Management Systems (AFM 481)
  • Advanced Financial Accounting (AFM 491)
  • Accounting Information Systems (AFM 341)

Enrol in the CGA Program of Professional Studies

Complete any two CGA Ontario courses or take the equivalent University of Waterloo courses and successfully complete the respective
CGA Ontario challenge exam to earn a transfer credit.
(C+ or higher.* Passing a CGA program challenge exam will earn you a transfer credit.)
